The Aspire Circle

R20 a month is nothing.
Until a thousand people do it.

One person giving R20 cannot put anyone through university. But fifty people giving R20 a month can fund a student’s entire year — and a thousand can fund twenty of them, every single year, forever.

That is the whole idea. You give what you genuinely won't miss. We turn it into a degree.

Based on our published figure of R12 000 per student per year — the same number behind our R1 000/month sponsorship tier. We don't inflate this.

This repeats every month until you stop it. Recurring gifts are what let us promise a student their full qualification — and you can cancel any time with one email.

Why It Works

Why Small and Steady Beats Big and Rare

01

It lets us promise years, not weeks

A degree takes three or four years. We can only commit to a student for that long if we know money is arriving every month. Your subscription is what makes a multi-year promise honest.

02

R20 is real money to a student

What you won't miss is a taxi fare to campus, a data bundle for an assignment, a meal on a long study day. Small to you is often the exact gap that makes a student drop out.

03

You are never giving alone

Your R20 doesn't sit in a corner doing R20 of good. It joins everyone else’s and becomes registration fees, textbooks and a laptop for a real named person.

Your Side of the Deal

You Will Know Exactly Where Every Rand Went

Most people stop giving because they never find out what happened to their money. We refuse to run it that way.

Your own impact report

A personalised report showing what you have given to date, exactly how it was allocated, and which programmes it reached. Yours, not a generic one.

A monthly newsletter

Where the month's money went, how the We Aspire 100 is progressing, and news from the scholars — written by us, not a template.

Open books

Our full allocation is published on the transparency page: 85% programmes, 10% mentorship, 5% administration.

Cancel whenever you like

One email and it stops. No phone calls, no retention script, no guilt. A gift given under pressure isn't worth having.

Start From R20

Tell us what you'd like to give and how often. We'll email you to set it up — usually within one working day.

Welcome to the Circle. We've got your details and will email you shortly to set up your giving — and your first impact report will follow at the end of the month.

This is where your monthly report and newsletter will go.

Never enter banking details on this form. We will contact you directly to arrange your debit order or give you our EFT details. We Aspire will never ask for your card number, PIN or online banking password.

Questions People Actually Ask

Is R20 really worth it? It feels like nothing.

On its own, yes, it's small — we won't pretend otherwise. But 50 people giving R20 a month is R12 000 a year, which is one student’s qualification covered in full. The Circle exists precisely so that people who can't give R1 000 can still fund a degree together.

Can I change my amount or stop?

Any time, by emailing info@weaspire.co.za. Increase it, decrease it, pause it or cancel it — we will action it without argument. There is no minimum term.

What exactly is in my personal report?

Your total given to date, the period it covers, how your contribution was allocated across registration and fees, devices, transport and placement kit, and the current status of The We Aspire 100. It goes out monthly with the newsletter.

Weekly or monthly — does it matter to you?

Not at all. Some people find R20 a week easier to absorb than R80 once. Choose whichever you'll actually keep up, because consistency is worth far more to us than size.

Do you take my banking details on the website?

No, and you should be suspicious of any charity that does. You tell us your preferred payment method, we contact you directly, and you set the debit order up through your own bank. We never see or store your card or account credentials.

Is We Aspire a registered organisation?

Yes — a registered Non-Profit Company, CIPC registration 2026/101143/08, incorporated 4 February 2026 in Gauteng. Our banking details and registration are published openly on our donate page.

One Coffee. One Degree.

You are not being asked to save a hundred students. You are being asked for R20, and to let us add it to everyone else's.
